Q : I'm all ready to start up, so what's the next step?
A : It's simple! Just give me a call or send me an email to schedule an appointment. If you don't reach me, I'll call you back within 24 hours at which point we can set up an appointment, at your convenience, to meet both you and your pet(s) and go over all the necessary details.
Q : Are your services available everyday of the year?
A : Unfortunately, there are no regular dog walks scheduled on weekends or statutory holidays.
Q : How does billing work?
A : The two forms of payment accepted are cash or cheque. For dog walking, bills are left at your home on Wednesdays, with payment due by the Friday of the same week.
Q : Do you keep my key?
A : I do keep keys for all of my clients, and rest assured, the keys are not marked with addresses for obvious reasons! In addition, please do not worry about alarm code information, as though they are kept on file for my purposes, codes are not linked to a particular address. Of course, keys will be returned as soon as requested.
Q : Do I need to leave anything for you on the days of the walks or visits?
A : The most important item to leave for a dog is a towel! While unfortunately it is simply too time consuming to bathe and blow dry each pooch after a walk, I will certainly dry off the dog as much as possible. In addition, you can leave favourite treats and/or toys so the dog has something to look forward to after the walk (though hopefully he/she will be too pooped to play!).
Q : How will I know how my pet is getting along?
A : If you are a new client, I will call you a couple times during the first week to give you updates, and of course if there are any issues down the road, I will notify you immediately. Beyond that, feel free to call or email at any time if you have any questions. In addition, don't hesitate to ask if you need information on any pet food or supply issues, as years of working within that industry have left me with quite a vast array of knowledge!
